BPC Releases Policy Recommendations to Build on U.S. Energy Abundance and Efficiency Gains
The Bipartisan Policy Center released a report on February 27, 2013, that encourages building on top of current efficiency gains. California continues to lead the way in energy efficiency and programs that encourage energy efficiency. The report encourages the extension of current federal, state, and local programs. I
t is stated that we should also build on top of current programs like the federal energy efficiency tax credit, Energy Upgrade CA, and municipal programs like Sonoma County Flex Path. One of the main points of the report is that energy efficiency is one of our most cost-effective and abundant energy resources.
